What are signature things you tell people regarding your area of expertise?
I’m extremely passionate about the future of news and connecting it with local communities which is why working on GVLtoday + AVLtoday is really a dream. I also believe there are so many stories that need to be told in smaller cities which are so vital to creating a strong local culture.
What is your favorite quote?
Work hard + be nice to people. It’s really at the crux of what it means to flow through the world in a positive way, while still growing personally + professionally.
If you could offer one piece of advice, what would you tell your younger self?
Slow down. Before I moved to Greenville, I had 10 internships. Much of my college time was focused on my career. In retrospective I could have enjoyed my time a little more and still gotten to where I am.
